The Raptor Education Group (REGI) from Antigo, WI will be bringing 6 species of live owls (Northern Saw-whet, Eastern Screech-, European Barn, Long-eared, Barred, and Great Horned, Sorry, the albino is not able to attend.) The International Owl Center has American Barn, Great Horned, and Eurasian Eagle Owls in their programs.

11:00 "Owls through the Ages"/Live Owls (Owl Center*)

12:00 – 3:00 Nest box building – (Trailhead Park, $30/box)

12:00 – 5:00 Pellet dissection (Trailhead Park, $5/pellet)

12:30 REGI "Night Moves" Live owl program (Community Center*)

1:00 – 3:30 Crafts & apple cider pressing (Houston Nature Center/Trailhead Park, $4/person)

2:00 "Owl Detectives"/Live owls (Owl Center*)

3:30 REGI "Night Moves" Live owl program (Community Center*)

5:00 REGI "Night Moves" Live owl program (Community Center*)

6:00 Spooked-Out Natural Playground (Trailhead Park, free)

*Owl Center and Community Center programs are both covered by regular Owl Center daily admission rates:

Members & ages 3 and under: FREE; Adults: $5; Ages 4-17: $3 

Our Mission

The International Owl Center advances the survival of wild owl populations through education and research. We plan to accomplish our mission through biological and cultural programs and displays, green building design, citizen-science and other research, international exchange of information, the World Owl Hall of Fame, the International Festival of Owls, and other means.
